You might not need to file an amended return for your daughter if there is no change in her tax liability or refund amount, or the refund might be so small that it is not even worth the trouble to file. The best thing to do is to enter the 2nd W-2 form and see what is the result and go from there. There is no additional charge if you paid for using TurboTax already.

Filed daughter's tax return, she's a full time student, going to school out of state. She forgot to give me her w-2 from a part time job where she earned $465 and paid $5 in ME taxes and $0 for federal taxes. Her other income was $11,085 so here total income for 2021 was $11,550. Do I need to file an amended tax return to include the $465? Will I have to pay another $25 to file in each state or is an amended return no additional fees? Thank you
