Birthdate error

My child's birthdate is wrong on the return so the government is wanting a lot of money due to the error. How do I correct this? I have never had to edit something. So I am lost.

Click on either Personal Info (if using the desktop) or click on My Info if using TurboTax Online. Scroll down or through to find the list of dependents, click on Edit next to their name(s) and update the birthday on that screen. In the desktop version, you will see all of your dependents and their birthdays on the Personal Info - You and Your Family Screen. Once you update the birthday, you can resubmit the return.

You will have to file a 1040-X amended return.
