I efiled my Federal and received my refund. However I found I made a $20 gross income mistake(should have been more)., so my AGI is $20 less. When I went back into Turbo Tax, to fix the $20 W2 it didn't have an impact to my refund.

Question.Should I admend and should I fix it on my state taxes. I'm assuming the sates compare AGI to federal.

Thanks

Jim

You should not amend your tax returns. If there's no change in your federal refund there is no reason to amend. It might not change your state tax either, but even if it does, the state is unlikely to bother about such a small difference.
