    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ok, I filled on 02/03/2022. It got accepted and everything. I've gotten my state taxes back. My transcripts have a TC 570 &amp;amp; TC 971 code with both coded having a $0.00 out beside them... what do i need to do. I need help.. how do I get someone on the phone at the IRS.&amp;nbsp; I called the [phone number removed] but when it went to be transferred it said " due to extremely high call volume we are unable to handle your call at this time" and hangs up... WHAT DO I DO.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;IRS:&amp;nbsp;800-829-1040&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, local time&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Monday-Friday&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Listen to each menu before making the selection.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;First choose your language. Press 1 for English.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Then press 3 "for all other questions."&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Then press 2 "for all other questions."&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;It should then transfer you to an agent.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did that it transferred me to another automated line where it asked for my social.. I didn't enter it and then it asked again and then it sent me to what was suppose to be an agent then it said " we're sorry due to extremely high call volume were unable to assist you in the topic you've chosen and hung up...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You might want to try first thing in the mornings when they open. &amp;nbsp;It has been reported people are able to get through easier then.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Code 570 means your refund is frozen until a tax examiner can resolve the issue with your tax return and release it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you call, the phone rep will not be able to give you any more information than that.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
