Looking for my MEF to help find a missing return.

I would like to find my 2020 MEF number to find my lost return with the IRS.

Both my 2020 state and federal taxes were submitted via Turbotax 11 months ago and I received my state refund within a month.

Unfortunately, the IRS has no record of my tax return and I need some sort of proof from the entity that submitted it.

Unfortunately, when I attempt to use the help chat, it says I must subscribe again for this year's taxes to be able to talk to someone.

Hi Heather, I did try by phone, but the automated service did not understand my issue and it said that my account was not eligible to talk to a real person (the service I paid for was last year). According to my receipt, what I purchased for my 2020 taxes included "TURBOTAX MAX BENEFITS R2020" and "TURBOTAX PRIORITY CARE TAX YEAR 2020", but since I am unable reach an actual person I cannot explain any of this to anyone.

Since you purchased MAX Benefits, please call the number in the below TurboTax Help Article for assistance.

I bought MAX, PLUS, or Premium Services and now I'm being audited
