I am using the downloaded Turbotax. I am being told that my return is being rejected because of either AGI or PIN. These are being entered automatically from my 2020 return, and when I check my paper copy, thery are correct. Specifically, it is complaining about my wife. However it doens't complain about me, even thorugh my AGI is the same as hers. And both PINs are that same as were used for the 2020 return. Is this a Turbotax error?

The IRS is rejecting the federal return. The IRS database for a 2020 AGI is not always accurate.

Enter a 0 (zero) for your spouse's 2020 AGI and e-file again.

If the IRS rejects the tax return again then enter a 0 for both of your 2020 AGI's and e-file again.

DoninGA: Thanks very much. You were spot on. I resubmitted after setting my wife's AGI to 0, and the Federal return was accepted . I am expecting that I should get acceptance soon from the state also.
