Approved my refund?

My Taxes were filed and accepted on March 11, 2022 and it still hasn’t been approved? It’s March 18th and it still hasn’t been approved? Did I do something wrong or does it take some time to be approved?

It may take several weeks or longer before the tax refund is Approved by the IRS. If there is a problem on the tax return the IRS will send you a letter.

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

It's only been a week. The IRS goal is 21 days, and it can take longer than that.
