I have tried to e-file 4 times with the AGI still being rejected. Saw the suggestion about entering $0. It still was not accepted by the IRS even though I have my 2020 return in hand. Any other suggestions? And TT still keeps their payment.

The IRS rejected my 2020 tax return stating that the AGI was wrong and rejected my return. When I filled out that part of the efile information I double-checked that what turbo tax put in that line was correct. I finished and filed but it was rejected. The amount used was on line 11 on my 2021 Federal tax return. Any ideas for a solution?

To e-file a 2021 tax return you need the 2020 AGI from the 2020 Federal tax return Form 1040 Line 11

If the 2020 AGI was correct and the IRS has rejected your tax return, try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI and e-file the 2021 tax return again.

Put zero in the AGI for both you and your spouse. I did this after 5 failed attempts and it worked. Received a confirmation that it was accepted by the IRS. It appears since the filing date was extended last year the IRS is still catching up.
