I efiled Saturday and received confirmation that returns (federal and CA) were submitted successfully. When I check efiling status though it says that I have NOT efiled. I phine and the rep had absolutely no idea. Only was able to read note on system that TT had received my returns and would forward them at the appropriate time. Appropriate time ?? anyone?

Once you submit your tax returns, they are forwarded to the IRS and your State for review. You can now go to their website to receive updates if you are to receive a refund. To find out where your refund is, first check your e-file status. If you are not seeing that your tax returns have been accepted yet, I would go ahead and check the federal to see if there is any information there. If it's been accepted, or you are not sure, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.

Not quite the question actually ..

I received the typical first TT note after efiling .. thx for submitting, etc.
I now look on your TT efile page and it says my returns have yet to be efiled ?? Why does it say that and it is incorrect? They have been efiled but seem to be stuck somewhere within TT??

While we empathize with your situation, Community is a public forum and we are not able to provide a lot of insight regarding the e-file status of your returns. Some returns do stay in pending status a little longer if the system detects something that could cause your return to be rejected. Please see this TurboTax help article for more information. Why is my return still pending?

For additional questions about your e-file status, I recommend you reach back out to TurboTax Customer Support. Support will be able to confirm the status of the returns electronically filed.

Thank you for your answer. I did indeed call and the person had absolutely no answer no idea. Read me that what you computer shows .. return received and will be transferred to authorities at the appropriate time. Absolutely zero explanation when probed, nothing.
