IRS will correct your tax return.

You do not have to amend your return for the Recovery Rebate Credit. If you did not report the stimulus payments received while completing your 2021 tax return and then received the Recovery Rebate Credit on your tax return (Line 30), then the IRS will automatically adjust your refund or balance due to reflect the stimulus payments you actually received and were qualified for.

You will be receiving a letter from the IRS shortly. Please be advised that this may delay the processing of your refund, if applicable.
