    <description>&lt;P&gt;I efile federal today , got an email message that my return was transmitted and accepted by IRS . i went to the irs web site that confirms my return to check status . I am glad I have a pdf copy that showed the return was electronic transmitted .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;however on my Desktop app says that I have not filed . I am confused of the status and how it will effect me &amp;nbsp;. Any insights would be much appreciated&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You just e-filed today?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You are expecting the IRS to show information on the refund site too soon.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Give the IRS a couple of days and then you can check the refund site.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, &lt;STRONG&gt;only the IRS has any control.&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry for the misunderstanding , I have no issues with irs , the issue is with turbo app stating that I did not Efile yet while it did.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My &amp;nbsp;tax return on the app does not have a efiled status .       <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, as I stated I efile and irs has it .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;got the 2 emails as asked .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the issue is that turbo app still shows that it is waiting to be efile.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Yea , you are correct that you cannot File twice.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;i know my tax transmit / efiled was good to irs. It is just my desktop turbo tax that state I need to efile based on the status&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anyway , I called support today but no success&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) first call was 1 hour and she told me that she will escalate but instead she closed the ticket&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) 2nd call was 2 hours and she was working with someone on chat I believe but it was too long to be on the phone and asked for follow up to me via email and not closed the ticket&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;this year has been problematic with turbo, besides this issue , 1116 schedule b and update loop problems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;anyway , my return is good this year but the .tax file / turbo app is the issue which i will have to deal next year ( if I turbo tax) &amp;nbsp;if support cannot resolve .&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks for your reply&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;TurboTax does not have a desktop app.&amp;nbsp; It has a desktop program that can be downloaded to a desktop or installed from a CD..&amp;nbsp; The app is for a tablet or mobile phone.&amp;nbsp; If you filed from a desktop you either used the desktop version or the online version.&amp;nbsp; Check the program that you filed from.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What was the final outcome here?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; I have the same thing transmitted return have the 2 emails from turbotax 1 says it was submitted and a 2nd saying the IRS has accepted it but when I go into turbotax to check the status it is back at the transmit return.&amp;nbsp; I have even tried to submit the return again it says it has already been submitted and to contact customer service ---- which I can't wait hours on the phone&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Open your return and go up to menu item&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;File &amp;gt; Electronic Filing &amp;gt; Check Electronic Filing Status&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then save your return with the status. Go to File-Save.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

For your curiosity:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Check Electronic Filing Status - you haven't efile&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Check Electronic Filing History -&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;there is no electronic history&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Show Electronic Filing Customer Service Messages - there is No customer ..&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Above is the status you wanted me to check. TT is broken. (TT was updated&amp;nbsp; today)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My outcome is not resolved. And as you know CUSTOMER service is not resolving it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am just waiting&amp;nbsp; IRS to process my return accepted March 12, hopefully&amp;nbsp; I will know by April 15th.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is NOT good, I will resubmit via&amp;nbsp; OLT if IRS does not process. Wish me luck&lt;/P&gt;</description>
