      <description>&lt;P&gt;no amended return is required because the IRS caught it.&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;ONLY&lt;/STRONG&gt; if you originally had a 2021 overpayment that you applied to 2022 you'll have to adjust. however this would be in Turbotax without actually filing.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;otherwise you could be short on 2022 and possibly owe underpayment penalties.&lt;/P&gt;
