We recently received our Federal & State refunds. Our state refund in right on. Our federal is exactly $1,000 short. Has anyone heard to why this is happening and the reason? We don't owe any student loans or child support. I've never had this happen before in all our years of using Turbo Tax........

Did you check the IRS site ? https://www.irs.gov/refunds

Did they send less than expected ? If so a letter of explanation will be in the mail in the next couple of weeks.

I did check the IRS site, no answer unfortunately. We were shorted $1,000. So, trying to figure out why. Hopefully the letter will come with some answers. Thank you.
