Shorted tax money

My total refund was 1671 I only got half of that which was basically all taken do to me owing taxes I only got 237 after that but that still doesn’t explain where my other 800 and something is. I cannot get any answers from anyone please help me get my refund. Or at least some information. I am tired of getting a loop of the same answers and cannot get any valid info.

TurboTax never knows when your refund is reduced by the IRS or the state. The IRS and/or state do not provide any information to TurboTax after you file your return. If the IRS reduced your refund because you owed back taxes or made some other mistake, etc. they will send you a letter in several weeks that explains why your refund was less. You need to read the letter carefully. If you think the IRS is wrong you can dispute it.

I spoke to someone they told me there are no deductions after what I paid, it’s showing I only got back 800 and something when turbo tax showed 1671.
