You can view your Form 1040 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

if you want to see the actual forms while preparing, you'll need the desktop version which has forms mode.

I am using the full service option for the 1st time. I do not see the tax tools option on the left hand side, How can I view my return in progress?

If you are using the TurboTax online editions, you must be signed onto your 2024 online account. Then you must access the 2024 online tax return. When you have accessed the tax return then you must be active in one of the section of the TurboTax program, such as Personal Info, Wages & Income, Deductions & Credits, etc. before all the links on the left side of the online program screen become available.

Thank you for your reply. The answer is if using full service, even if logged in to your account, you have to work through your tax professional. You cannot access your preliminary return or any other information on your own like we are all use to doing when doing our own return online.
