I have logged into the irs account page, and it states I received all 3 stimulus payments. But I never received a check or deposit for the 3rd payment. Nothing from June 2020 to March 2022. Do I need to dispute something? Was the 3rd stimulus not sent as a payment but part of last years tax return and I'm just not understanding. Irs says I don't qualify for the 2021 recovery rebate credit.

The third stimulus payment was not included in the 2020 tax return and was sent separately.

You can check on the status of your stimulus payment by visiting the IRS View Your Account Information to see if the third stimulus was issued. Since you have done that, you will need to request an IRS trace on the payment.

How can you request an IRS trace for missing stimulus money?

To request a payment trace, call the IRS at 800-919-9835 or mail or fax a completed Form 3911, Taxpayer Statement Regarding Refund (PDF). Note: If you call the number, you'll have to listen through the recorded content before you can connect with an agent. You should not mail Form 3911 if you've already requested a trace.

The IRS sends you the 3911 form.

You have to call in to ask for it.

Did you double check your bank statements? The 3rd Stimulus payment was 1,400 and started coming out in March 2021.

If the IRS thinks they sent it to you but you didn't get it request a trace for a missing third Stimulus payment
