Incorrectly charged for filing

I filed online through my Turbotax account on 01-31-2022. I am eligible for Free Filing but was directed to purchase a product./free file was not an option. After submitting I found out that TurboTax Free file is available for 2021 returns. I was charged $39 for State and $39 for Federal Returns. How do I get a refund??

TurboTax is not participating in Free File for 2021. It is too late now, but for next year make sure you use one of the participants in the IRS Free File program.

If Turbotax is not participating in free file this year why are they still advertising Turbotax is "free". My tax filing this year (2021tax year) was exactly the same as last year (2020 tax year) yet I was charged $39 x 3 times?? Has requested return of filing charges but that request was denied.......
