I have already followed that link and since I used Free File, I cannot amend my return.

I clicked on "Amend (change) 2020 return" and it says "Amending a prior year return is not currently supported by IRS Free File Program delivered by TurboTax."

What now?

You should be able to use that link to amend your 2020 return. You won't be able to amend with Free File but would need to log into TurboTax.com itself. Can you clarify if you filed your 2020 return using the TurboTax website as opposed to the Free File Website?

I have used that link & also went directly into turbotax.com to access my previous year's tax returns and am unable to amend my 2020 taxes. I used the Turbo Tax website to file my taxes and since my income was below the threshold for free file, I was able to file for free.

Are you able to see your 2020 tax return when you log in? If so, can you try to clear cache and delete cookies and then try amending again? If that still does not work, I would suggest reaching out to TurboTax customer support directly for further assistance using the FAQ link provided below:
