I realized after I filed and it’s been accepted, that I actually did receive the third stimulus payment, how do I fix my return?

You cannot fix it. The IRS will catch the mistake and reduce your refund if you answered incorrectly and put the stimulus on line 30. That will delay your refund so expect a wait.

The IRS knows the stimulus payment was sent to you so they will adjust your tax return accordingly. If you are owed a tax refund it will be delayed by several weeks or longer.

You do not need to amend your 2021 tax return.
