My LLC (which necessitates the use of Turbo Tax Business) is a pass through to my personal taxes. The mistake I made on my 1065 is causing Turbo Tax online to reject my return until I fix the mistake, so I cannot wait until my return has been fully processed.

Form 1065X to amend a partnership tax return is available, however, you cannot e-file the return. You can use TurboTax Business to amend your return, then you will print and mail it in. This will result in you having the corrected K-1 so you can file your personal returns.

To amend your 1065 please follow these steps:

Open your file in TurboTax Business
Under the Business Info tab choose the About Your Business sub-tab
Click Continue until you get to the Do you need to file an amended return page
Select Yes I need to file an amended return
Select the 2021 return
Enter the items that need to be corrected and the reason statement
TurboTax then walks you through printing and mailing your amended return in

Hello, I'm trying to amend my 1065 but it won't let me change it. I double posted my income under "Royalties" and I need to change it. I tried to input the negative number but it won't let me.
