A difference of exactly $600 sounds like it could have been for the 2nd EIP payment of $600 per person. Lots of people made mistakes with that on their 2020 tax returns and the IRS reduced their refunds. Look on your 2020 Form 1040 and see if you had $600 on line 30. Then check your IRS account and see if it shows that you received the EIP for $600.
