&lt;P&gt;Instead of using the CD/download did you use online software?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You cannot pay for online with that code.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You will probably have to seek help from customer support---but here is some information on how to switch to the download if you used online by mistake.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="s1"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;If you are using online, you are using the wrong program.&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;You need to switch to the desktop software to get what you paid for.&lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;You have to download it, update it and open it up from your own hard drive to use it. &lt;SPAN class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If your company understands these are unprecedented times you would not have sent such an email. the IRS is having problems processing taxes on time, you guys are reaching out to your customers some of the which have had the worst year of their lives, for a payment of a product in which you guys leave an option to collect your payment when the taxes are received, now all the sudden it is your customers fault the IRS in the feds are taking this long? To be honest it's more upsetting than anything and I would probably use a different platform next year.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The flex I bought from Sam's club would NOT load so I downloaded frum Turbotax.com an used the license code from the flex disk NOW you want to charge me again for the download and take it from my refund.&amp;nbsp; Horrable business practice.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How much is it trying to charge you? &amp;nbsp;The only extra &amp;nbsp;thing you need to pay for in the Desktop program is to efile a state return for $20. &amp;nbsp; Or you can print and mail state for free. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then if you want the state efile fee deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California). &amp;nbsp;Or pay with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or is it charging you to download the state PROGRAM? &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I see people all the time that have bought the CD/Download Desktop Software but then somehow ended up using the Online version and didn't know it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;If that happened to you,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;you can move your Online file to the Desktop program and continue without paying for Online or needing to reenter your info. Post back if you need to know how to move it to your Desktop program.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When you filled out your return did you go online and log in?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;And see a black column on the left side with the menu items, Federal, State, File etc.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;That is Online.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;The Windows Desktop program is blue across the top and the menu items like Federal, State, Review, File go across the top.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;Sorry you can't apply the License Code from the Desktop CD/Download program purchase to the Online version.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;They are separate prices and work different.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;You need to install the program on your computer and move your online return to the Desktop program.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;To&amp;nbsp;continue in the desktop version see this…….&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&lt;A href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/choosing-a-product/help/how-do-i-switch-from-turbotax-online-to-the-turbotax-software/00/26129" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/choosing-a-product/help/how-do-i-switch-from-turbotax-online-to-the-turbotax-software/00/26129&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had.
