It has been almost 48 hours and my return still says “PENDING” under “Received by IRS”. Everyone I know is getting accepted within hours. I’ve received no emails or updates. Very confused

When the flood gates are let loose on the first official day of filing the millions of returns the IRS has to process may take a few days ... just watch your email (also check the spam) and/or check on the IRS site directly (sometimes TT is a bit behind). https://www.irs.gov/refunds

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
