Hi there,

I initially thought I did NOT receive the third stimulus check. Unfortunately, I was able to find documentation of receiving the $1400 from the government in March 2021, after I had already submitted my tax forms. Is there any way to amend this? I assume I may have to wait until March 26, 2022 when the 1040-X is available. If I'm mistaken and there's another way to include this information, please let me know!

Just wait. The IRS knows they sent you the 1,400 and will automatically take it off your return line 30. It will probably delay your refund or turn it into a tax due.

The IRS know that you received the 3rd stimulus payment and will adjust your federal tax return accordingly.

However, it may take several months before the IRS processes your tax return due to this mistake.
