Hi,

I need to amend 8938 for 2019 to add missing accounts. These accounts did not make any additional income.

Except to amend 8938, all information are the same as original return and no amount $ change. Does it mean I do not need fill in line 1-30 in 1040x? Just fill my info eg SSN and part 3?

By the way, I plan to mail amended 8938 with 1040x.

The 1040X page 1 will reflect the original info in column A and the same in Column C leaving Column B blank. Then the reason for the filing is on page 2 along with your signature and attach the 8938 and mail to the address in the filing instruction page.

Was your amendment accepted. I have the same issue for 2021 and am reading that this may become a penalty
