HELP Explain 2018 Tax Return

The IRS is holding up my 2018 Return that was filed on 10/15/2020. Claiming the income doesn't add up and that I show less than being paid. Our W2's and 1099-Misc together does show more than it's reflecting on my return which was done with the TurboTax Desktop Software and I see all the W2's and 1099- Misc are listed.

So I'm confused and need to understand, so that I can explain to the IRS. Can I have someone call me or do a live chat?

You can't explain this away with the IRS.

You either file a correct 1040 showing all your income if the IRS letter permits that.

Or you file a 1040-X showing all your income.

Follow the instructions in the letter.
