Turbo tax incorrectly did my taxes along with my state. How do I fix this mess?

First, IRS will correct some errors for you. They call it a miscalculation.

After that, if your return is still wrong,

see Form 1040-X and its instructions.

Many tax returns have gone to the errors department at the IRS this year. They use the term "calculation error" as a generic catch - all for a variety of errors which can include user errors such as data entry errors.
