Cannot find/print original state return

I submitted my AR state 2019 return in June of last year using TT Premier online. Today I amended that state return. I did not download the original return before amending . I would like to see what the differences between the original and the amended return are but I am unable to do so as the option to download only serves up my amended return. Is my original pre-amended return gone forever now?

You can get a copy of your original return from Arkansas by filling out and mailing Form AR4506. Copies are $2.

Wow. That's a horrible and sickening flaw that TT will essentially allow you to destroy a return that's already been filed. Just as reprehensible is the lack of warning that you're getting ready to do so. It would make much more sense to freeze (i.e. make read-only) a filed return and let you work with a copy to amend. But thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
