IRS rejected my e-filed 2020 return for incorrect EIN. How much time do I get to fix the rejected return? Also, Now that the third stimulus is signed into law, can I incorporate relevant changes along with fixing EIN and then resubmit the corrected return?

You have the entire tax season, until April 15, to correct your return and refile it. Yes, if you had unemployment compensation, you can wait to file after the IRS has decided how they are handling the issue

If your return is rejected due to the EIN, go back to where it was originally entered and check that the form is entered exactly as received. For more information, see: E-file reject FW2-502: The name or EIN for an employer on your W-2 doesn't match IRS records.
