Where is my refund I filed with you February 26 I still to this day have not gotten my $600 stimulus check what the hell is going on and now you’re telling me you’re gonna be pulling money out of my account what did you do absolutely nothing find out what’s going on with my refund that’s your job isn’t it

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS. Many refunds are taking longer during the pandemic. The IRS is backlogged —-they are still trying to process millions of 2019 returns; they received millions of e-filed on the day they opened for 2020 returns, and now they are burdened with sending out another round of stimulus checks.

Some delays are resulting from incorrect amounts that folks entered for stimulus checks they received. Many people have been confused by the recovery rebate credit and completed it incorrectly. The IRS may delay your refund while they cross-check to see what you received. Some refunds are delayed because of the tax law changes that went into effect recently. If your return has unemployment or the premium tax credit on it, that may be delaying it.

You have me down as a new member I am not a new member with you I have been with you for years and I have never come to this problem except when I married a deadbeat who doesn’t file taxes that is why I have file separate every single year I am very irritated as to what’s going on this year and I’m being charged by you people for doing absolutely nothing find my refund

The IRS issues refunds, not TurboTax. Unfortunately, this means that we can't say for sure why you haven’t received your refund yet. Since your return has accepted, you can begin to track your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund? site. You'll need your Social Security number or ITIN, filing status, and the exact amount of your refund to check your status.

A lot of taxpayers are in the same situation as you due to the IRS backlog right now. Although The IRS issues most refunds from e-filed returns in about 21 days, some returns take more time to review. In addition, the IRS is processing millions of returns, as well as stimulus checks, and they are doing everything they can to be as prompt as possible.

For some taxpayers, PATH Act requirements and other identity-protection safeguards implemented by the IRS may account for longer wait times.

Other things that can delay your refund include, but are not limited to:

Liens, back taxes, or refund offsets
Errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
Identity fraud
Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation, which can take 11-14 weeks to process

@Merry224 The user forum changed from "Answer Xchange" to "Real Money Talk" a couple of years ago. So if you have not posted to the user forum in awhile it shows you as a "new member" of the user forum. That's all---it has nothing to do with how many years you have been using TurboTax software.

TurboTax cannot intercede with the IRS to find out about your refund. The IRS will not tell TT anything. Lots of people are having problems and delays this year due to problems at the IRS.
