You don't need to open your tax return to print your estimated tax vouches. You can log into your account and print.

The IRS has not extended the deadline for estimated tax payments to May 17. Estimated tax payments are still due on April 15.

I don't see any way to 'open' my 2020 return. The only option is to download it and it only has 11 pages which do not include any of the worksheets or 1040-ES. I tried downloading the .tax file that looks like it should contain everything, but it won't open on my 2020 Dell computer.

When you sign onto your online account you should be on the Tax Home screen, scroll down and click on Add a state. Don't worry it won't add a state but will give you access to your tax forms and worksheets.

An amended return, Form 1040-X, can only be printed and mailed to the IRS if the original tax return was not e-filed. The IRS will take up to 16 weeks or longer to process an amended tax return.

Before starting to amend the tax return, wait for the tax refund to be received or the taxes due to be paid and processed by the IRS.
