After filing my 2020 taxes I tried to print a copy of them. The PDF download only contained my federal return & the Va. est. tax vouchers. Where is my Va. state tax return?

Thanks. I know how to print out the returns. The problem is that in the PDF download the Va. state return is not there. It's missing. Am trying to find out what happened to it.

I recommend checking the status of your returns to make sure the Virginia return was processed and electronically filed.

How to check your e-file status

If you do not see a Virginia return, it may not have been prepared. You can also contact us using the link below to have an agent confirm whether the state return was transmitted or not.

Contact TurboTax

If you determine your state return was not completed, please see the link below for instructions on how to add it and complete the electronic filing. Be sure to go through the state interview process all the way through to ensure your state return is completed.

The problem is not how to print a return; but where is my 2020 Va. state tax return. When I download & open the TurboTax PDF down load only my Federal return & the 4 Va. estimated tax vouchers are there. Both my returns have been filed & accepted.

Try using Print Center and the option for all worksheets. The state tax return should be included -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2020 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
