No. The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the new tax laws and extra stimulus filings, as well as a few million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient. Also see:

If you're talking about the day listed on TurboTax's website I wouldn't worry. That date is only an estimate and is hardly accurate.

Unfortunately, many of the IRS's own posts are still saying that they issue Most Refunds within 21 days. That is simply not true this year. In fact, they are still working on some 2019 tax returns that were filed in 2020.

I still have not received mine I'm a little worried I based my bills on turbo tax telling me no worries my refund is on its way.

Yes, The IRS have backlog of income tax returns to be processed due to forms needed to be updated and/or processing of stimulus payments and other issues needed to be addressed

If you haven't received your federal refund, you can check the IRS website under Refunds tab to check the status of your return

It sounds like you would definitely qualify for the taxpayer advocate service. Call them at [phone number removed] and be sure to let them know that you are currently facing financial hardship. Normally you would have to file a form to get their assistance...but if you take the steps I mentioned they will actually do it for you over the phone and they will help you sooner rather than later. Plus they would be able to look into the status of your return for you. Best of luck. I hope your money comes to you soon.

It would appear that TurboTax has removed the number I have provided. Looks like you're going to have to google "Tax Payer Advocate Service" and go to the page that has all the contact numbers on it. The number I tried listing is at the very bottom of that page. Be sure to use that number otherwise you will have to wait three days to hear back from anyone at your local office.
