Once the 45 days review has been concluded one of two things will happen: (1) The IRS agrees with your return and will send you the refund you are owed or (2) The IRS does not agree with your return, makes the adjustments they feel are necessary based off the information they have in their system and send you a letter than explains the adjustments and how they effect your refund.
