The Third Stimulus will come to you directly from the IRS.

I've already received mine. Why wouldn't the IRS adjust my refund and add his amount seeing as it wasn't even processed when the 3rd stimulus came out?

The IRS has said they may send out supplemental payments later if you did not receive the correct amount of your third stimulus payment. If you received too much, you don't need to pay anything back. The IRS determined eligibility based on your last tax return (either 2019 or 2020). You will need to contact the IRS for details. Here is everything we know about the 3rd payment as of now.

The 3rd stimulus payment has zero effect on your 2020 tax refund - they won't adjust your refund amount for the 3rd stimulus payment as it is being sent out separately and will be reconciled later. But we don't have details about HOW that will be done. yet.
