I filed for the non filers stimulus payment for my dependent daughter and still have not received anything from the IRS instead I got a thank you for your payment email from them

Do you owe back taxes to IRS? try using where is my refund tool and my EIP payment tool on IRS website. if those will work for you, will give you dates and more information

It depends.

Did you file an actual tax return in 2021 for your 2020 income tax return? If you did not receive a portion of either of the first two stimulus payments, you will need to file an actual income tax return for 2020 to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit. This is the only way to get a credit for any of the possible stimulus payments you should have received but never did.
