Are you referring to a Federal refund, and if so, does this IRS WMR tool says the funds have been sent?

If the IRS has actually sent the funds, the IRS says to allow up to 5 days due to variations in bank processing procedures and times.

However, there may be another link in the chain that you can check in the meantime if you used the following service:

Did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund? If so, the funds go first from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted. Then that intermediary bank sends the rest of the funds on to your bank (or card.) If you used that method to pay fees, and if the IRS has actually released the funds, we can tell you how to check on the funds at the level of the intermediary company (SBTPG).

WMR says the refund was SENT on 3/24/21. I chose to pay TurboTax from my refund which may have been a mistake. That means my refund was sent to TurboTax. So where is my money?

No, the refund does not go from the IRS to TurboTax. The IRS also says to allow up to 5 days. The IRS sends the refund to a temporary account set up in your name at an intermediary bank. Then that intermediary bank takes out the fees and sends the rest of the funds to your bank (or card) in a second direct deposit. The company that administers that is SBTPG (Tax Products Group.) And here is how you can check on it:

You can use the refund lookup tool at the SBTPG (Tax Products Group) website.

Choose the "For Taxpayers" portal, then on the next page choose "Check with TPG."

SBTPG has a phone contact page at the following link. It also shows their business hours. Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

YES IT SAYS SENT!!! so how do I check where they are with TurboTax???
