I am due a small refund. March 24 came and went and still no stimulus payment. So odd as both other times we received them as direct deposit fairly quickly.

My federal and state returns were accepted on February 11th. I received my California State Refund quite promptly, within 3 weeks. But nothing from the IRS. I pulled the 2020 Tax transcript today and it says that my tax return was received on April 15, 2021, but all the other filing information is correct. How can this be? So obviously I have not gotten my refund, or the 3rd stimulus payment for that matter. I've never had an issue like this before, my returns have been filed electronically by TT for many years and have gone smoothly.

Usually it says that if you OWE taxes, and the payment date for that defaults to April 15. Are you sure you're due a refund?

The IRS is sending out Stimulus #3 payments in batches, and will take a few weeks to complete them all. This one comes to you separately (and automatically), not as part of your 2020 tax refund. You can check the status here:

Get My Payment | Internal Revenue Service (irs.gov)
