How will I know when my mailed in taxes have been accepted?

I am not waiting on a check. I had to pay so I mailed my state check and federal check and all documents to their respective addresses. When will I know these things have been received.

For a mailed tax return you will not receive any type of notice from the IRS or your State acknowledging the receipt of the tax return.

When the payments have cleared your bank account you will know that the returns were received.

If the tax return was not signed they will send the return back to you for signing. Any other issues with the tax return they will notify you by mail.
