My income tax says its still pending, and its been about 6 weeks

Hi, I filed my income tax on Feb 16th and they were accepted the same day, when I go on the irs to check a date on when I'm getting them it still says its pending. Everything was correct and I never have to wait this long for my refund. I even did direct deposit this year to make the process go faster. Im getting a little worried here because its March 24 and there still pending.

I’m in the same boat. I have looked and so many others are as well. This is getting aggravating.

Please see this TurboTax FAQ on why some tax return refunds may take a while to be released and what steps you can take: What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

Additionally, the IRS is working on the backlog from last year, Stimulus payments, tax returns from this year and some refunds are taking longer than expected.
