Hi guys so I forgot To add a job and I spoke to someone in the irs department and she told me I was In error department because I forgot to add a job and to Amend it I said Should I wait Until I receive my refund she told me no and to do it now to avoid a letter so I did it and now I cant Search my refund amount or anything do you know if I will Get my refund check first still I was Told yes

Yes, you will get your refund check, but after the Amended Return is processed. For more information, see: How do I amend my 2020 TurboTax Online return?

To track the amended return, go to: IRS - Where's My Amended Return?

The return will be rejected unless Form 1040X is included in the filing.

If the update occurred and the return was resubmitted without it, then it will be rejected. Form 1040X will be available soon. To check for the most recent updates, go to IRS Forms Availability for Individuals.

Hi so I won’t receive my refund until the 16 weeks is up or until it was received the amended they received my amended on March 11th and was told today I didnt Even have to file it someone in the irs dept gave me the wrong info
