So today I got a letter in the mail from the irs saying they made corrections that I’m suppose to receive 353. When I filed with turbo tax which was my W2 from my Job I was suppose to receive 3,000 . I don’t understand how it went from 3,000 that I was approved for to 353. The letter also mentioned that some information may be wrong with the social security than it also mentioned something about the recovery rebate , I never had this problem before so I just need help understanding

When you filed the return was ACCEPTED for processing ... the TT program doesn't APPROVE anything. APPROVAL of the refund comes later from the IRS once the return has been processed.

Wait for the letter of explanation so you will understand what the IRS changed and why.
