Would think with the cost I get get more than a pregenerated response. None of the IRS numbers are accepting calls. There has to be a way to find out what the hold up is.

Unfortunately, the IRS has heavy volume of calls and working on a backlog from last year, the stimulus checks and this year tax return refunds. Until the IRS updates your status and releases your refund there won't be an update for it.
