Is this a TurboTax message you received? If so, then it sounds like you haven't filed your return.

When you originally went to file, did you proceed through all the filing steps and click the orange Transmit My Returns Now button? If not, then you didn't file.

No, I have filed my return and it is currently held up by the IRS (over 1month). From what was listed on the 4464C Letter was to verify four items. But Turbotax live want me to start a return.

Did you get the message from TurboTax that your return was "Accepted"? It clearly wasn't Rejected, but it was pulled out so the IRS could do some follow-up verification on some items on your return.

I say this because if your e-filing wasn't "Accepted", then TurboTax might not know that your e-filing was completed.

Yes, my taxes were accepted by IRS. That is a different issue by itself. The irs leaves you wairing for 60 day with no communications except the letter 6646. The bigger issue is they are holding my fund for over a year.

The problem that I am not stating correctly is that the TurboTax live does not recognize that I file my return and wants me to file my taxes again. TurboTax is adding confusion to the entire process. Plus I signed up for the additional coverage if I was audited, and cannot get any meaningful help response.

So I am a discouraged in both irs and turbotax.

Could you possibly have multiple Turbo Tax accounts? This can attribute to the type of issue that you are experiencing; to find out, you may follow the steps listed here @notos098.
