Amended returns take 4-6 MONTHS to be processed. So if you do not want to wait a little while for the software to incorporate the tax law change that just passed, be aware of the wait you will have if you have to amend.

Another person answered that I should not just subtract up to $10,200 but it could be quite a while before Turbo Tax has a fix.

We truly do not know how long it will be----but this law was signed a couple of days ago. It is unrealistic to expect the software to change that fast. Give it at least a week to see what the timeline is looking like.
