Most tax returns process within 21 days. However, some may take longer. TurboTax does not receive any updates on the status of returns once the IRS accepts them. This means that we can't say for sure why you haven’t received your refund. If it's been longer than 21 days since you e-filed your return and your return was accepted, you'll have to speak directly to IRS to find out more about the delay. If there is no record of your return, or the system says the information is wrong, please make sure you are entering the correct social security number, filing status, and refund amount.

To verify your Social Security Number:

If you filed a Form 1040, the Social Security Number is shown on Page 1 in the upper right-hand corner.

My Federal refund was accepted on 2/11/21 and my anticipated refund date was 03/04/21. I have not received anything. I checked the IRS site and app, put my info in and it's giving me an error of not found. All that changed on my return was my address. Why is there no info on my refund on the IRS sites and it says they were accepted and I still have not got any of my refund yet???

My date was the third had similar issues last week when checked on Monday, said no records found. On tuesday showed up as in process. By Friday said still processing with topic 152. So now I sit and wait for letter if more info is needed or go through the call in process for hours.

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

Thanks for the feedback. It's now 3/15 and it's still saying refund status error... Information does not match.

I cannot get a hold of the IRS cause their phone lines are too busy and they hang up on me. Why would I still not be seeing my refund since it was accepted on 2/11/21? Is that a problem on their end, or did Turbo tax not relay my info to them properly? No one will tell me why I have not seen my refund and why the status online as not changed. I've never had this issue before and this is very frustrating that no one can give me a clear answer why.
