I received a paper in the mail about me not claiming for the earned income credit i qualify for with 3 children being head of household making under 45000 gross for the year. I am confused how turbo tax charged me to file and guaranteed the maximum refund but missed such an important tax credit for a single mother this is insane. I would like the information on how to obtain this form requested by the irs for your mistake. I also want a refund of ALL my money i was charged to file this return. I had to pay extra for max benefits and STILL somehow the earned income credit was missed. I knew it was very small of a refund but with covid and the talk of child credit monthly payments starting near june i thought maybe it was correct. This should have never passed tour review let alone final review now i have to wait a weeks possibly months before getting the majority of my tax refund since i choose to go through your site. I had no problems the 4 years prior. The form does not exist on the IRS website. If your friend received a notice from the IRS then they should call the IRS using the phone number on the notice.

There should have been a toll free phone number for you to call with the notice you received from the IRS. Call that number and they should be able to assist you in getting this form.

The IRS came out with the form just this month. Google the form and the IRS pdf of it will pop up.

I was sent a form not knowing I was not given the EIC! This has never happened to me before. I even had to pay this year for you all to do my taxes. How was this missed? I want a full refund from you. Now I have to wait 6-8 weeks to get the full refund I was owned. So aggravating!
