Can anyone who called the offset line and heard they have an offset see their transcripts. Because I had an offset last year 2019 and on my transcripts you can see the 898 code under refund issued. But this year 2020 I see the 846 code refund issued with the date of 2/24. And nothing else under it. I'm scared to call the offset number because I'm just assuming it will be taken so I'm prepared. But I was just curious if that 898 code comes up after the date of 2/24 if this makes any sense!

Because of COVID and heavy workload the IRS is really slow in getting transcripts posted this year. For offset information contact the Bureau of the Fiscal Service.

Thank you for your response but I have my transcripts I'm just hoping to receive my refund this year.

Nobody other than the Bureau of the Fiscal Service can tell you - call them.
