Trying to E-file amended 2019 return

I am trying to e-file an amended 2019 tax return. I can get all the through the e-filing process until the system asks for a filing date. When I input today's date, it says the date has to be between 1/1/2020 and 12/31/2020. Does this need to be fixed? According to the IRs you should be able to efile an amended return

Yes, but you cannot do so on TT.

No. You have to use the 2019 Form 1040-X to amend a 2019 federal tax return

So TT2019 can no longer efile a 2019 amended return. Is there a way I can take the info and e-file myself?
