Please wait at least 24-48 hours after your return has been accepted by the IRS to check your status on www.irs.gov/refunds.

If there is no record of your return, or the system says the information is wrong, please make sure you are entering the correct social security number, filing status, and refund amount.

To verify your refund amount:

If you filed a Form 1040, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 20a.

If you filed a Form 1040NR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 73a.

If you filed a Form 1040NR-EZ, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 23a.

If you filed a Form 1040PR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

If you filed a Form 1040SS, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

I have received a text and email from your staff but when I go to where's my refund the irs site says that they have not received any thing

Until the IRS starts processing your tax return there may not be a record of it on the IRS website. If your federal return was just accepted today, please wait 24 hours before checking the status. The IRS updates the Where's My Refund site only once a day and that is usually in the overnight hours. Please also see the below TurboTax FAQ for more information:

I filed my taxes on 2/14/21 and they were accepted by the IRS, but there is still an error message to find my refund. Why? Where is it?
